One last Christmas and a Waterslide?
AnnaBelle got a dog that says her name, and the Tag Jr. (so she stops stealing GV's). They both got games Don't Break the Ice and Ants in the Pants. We played them last night, fun!
He is a very stubborn man, so you can tell when he is back to normal. He refused to have surgery when he was in the hospital before Christmas because he wanted to be home for Christmas. When we went to leave him on the second day, he asked my mom to put the walker next to his wheelchair. My mom kept telling him, I'll put it there but don't you use it with out a nurse to help. He just nodded. Mom said, "You hear me? Don't try to use it yourself." He said, "Yeah I hear ya." Which Mom replied, "Well I think you hear me but don't listen." At that point Grandpa looked at me smiled and nodded.
While we were visiting we spent the night at Key Lime Cove in Gurnee. It has a pretty nice water park with a toilet bowl (uh I don't know how else to descibe this slide) 2 tube slides and 2 body slides all 4 stories up. It has a lazy river, wave pool, kid park, and baby kid park. The picture is at the baby kid park. The only place where AnnaBelle would go down. Gevie is of course still a fish and did the 4 story tube slide (where you go down in a double tube with someone else) as many times as I could do the slide. Her and I love waterslide. She also did the whole kid park, pretty decent body slides, she just wouldn't walk up to them with all the "big kids" around.
My battery is low, I'll post the dog side of our trip later.
