Thank you God, the teens are found!
This is actually turning out to be a good story, my brother said, "This was all you little sis" and I replied, "No, it was all God." So anyway here is my story. We still had not heard any word on Sunday. My mom has been working with the local police even though thier efforts were frugal at
the least. We did everything we thought we could do except wait for God's perfect timing. I had talked about this to my mom and we both had a feeling of peace about it.
On Sunday while I was at the doctor for another ear infection with AnnaBelle and then off to a Christmas party, a kid down the street got a call from Julie with a wild story and needing money. Somehow this kid Chris, didn't know about the drama down the street so he talked to her and said he didn't really have any money to give. Later when he got his computer back on line he saw the notices about Julie. So my mom got a call, "I think I might know where Julie is." Yeah!
She had used a phone at the Flagstaff (AZ!) Visitor's Center. My mom passed this info around to the authorities and to the Mexican Border. So I come home from the church Christmas party at midnight and Gid tells me, "they think she is in Arizona." Well now of course I couldn't go to bed! So I talked to my mom again, and kept getting this feeling that we need to talk to this visitor's center and the people there. The next morning I still had the urge to talk to the people that may have seen her use the phone, at least we would know if she looks happy and healthy! So I called mom, "have you called down to this place?" "No it is an automated system" and she figured the police would follow up. Well with this now not so gentle nudge to call this place I did. I picked a menu that I thought would lead me to a person.
The lady under the directions tab, was Rosanna. I told her my name and that I was looking for my sister, a runaway and her boyfriend. She said, "yes I've seen them. One dark haired one blonde." Oh my God that's them! She continued that they had been there a few days hanging out. She said she even scolded them at how worried their mothers were! I was going to tell her to pass along a message that no one was made, just worried and she says, "hold on I'll check if thier here." What! There! NOW!? She came back on and said, "yes I am sure it is them, do you want me to call the police?" Oh dear decision time, I didn't want to lose them or scare them either, but ultimately the right decision was for them to be held for thier parents. So the police came and took them into custody and my mom, Julie's dad, and Christians dad are flying down to get them. The blazer it turns out is in Waukegan at the train station.
So thank you all for praying for them as they took this journey. Now that they are coming home, hopefully we will be able to get to the real reason they felt they had to leave. So keep praying for us as we adjust to this situation. I felt so relaxed after I followed the will of God, instead of waiting. All night long, I just wanted to call and see if anyone had seen them or over heard plans. As it happened everything went just as it was supposed to!
