Twinkle Toes Arrives!

This is definately going to be our production kind of kid. The IV was started at noon and she arrived at 10:59 and about 2 hours of pushing. Maybe more maybe less, I for one was not counting.

She weighs 8.5lbs is 22inches long OH and her name is not Twinkle Toes! It is Eloise Irene Silence! My Great great aunts Eloise and Irene were the two that started Koeneke Shoredge in Lutsen.

Otherwise, I haven't eaten since breakfast so Gid went to go get us Perkins at 12:20 am. Eloise is getting her first bath in the nursery. I can't wait to eat and then sleep!

Is this my hint that I spend too much time on the computer? I am currently having technical problems with a site called Smarthinking. It's an essay review site, I had a heck of a time logging in and submitting my paper, and now I can't go get my corrected one! It's due tomorrow night so hopefully I can get it and do the last minute revisions I know they'll point out. Otherwise, Sara and the kids are sick with a head cold. I am trying to type and deal with my nose running at the same time. Yeah I know more than you needed to know. We have the appraisal for our house tomorrow morning so pray for a high number! REALLY HIGH like 255,000. AnnaBelle still only takes about 5 steps, but now SHE SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT! Oh I am so excited, she is sick and still sleeping through the night!! No MSG for Me. And sugar too.

Yep even more. I am so glad that I have the peace that only God can give. I did find it extremely funny that my regular Dr. said not to lose any more weight (10lbs--not missed), the allergist took away all the foods I had left to eat. It's okay. You're right, I can't eat anything. But I already feel better. I have not wanted/needed to rest at naptime all week. I used to get so sluggish and drowsy after lunch. Now I know it was from food! On Friday the 4th I went in for more allergy tests. Even the allergist questioned the possibility of an MSG allergy. Not that it is uncommon (almost everyone reacts to it, most don't notice) but he questioned where I was getting it. For the record and you will hear me preach on this more often now. MSG IS IN EVERYTHING! It's a nuerotoxin and is linked to just about any problem a body can have. Giving Answers or Facilitate Processing with Rogers

  Rogers argues that the teacher's role should be facilitating the process of individuals arriving at their own solutions rather than providing answers to problems. Do you agree with this? Explain why or why not. I agree with this statement. I could just end right there, but some people might disagree so I will elaborate. Thinking back to some of my own schooling and also what I have gone through with middle schoolers and high schoolers at home, some teachers are “teaching” the answers. A approach coined as “teaching to the test.” What we refer to in our house as “Read it and then barf it back out,” (charming, I know). All of these things are the same, and I can tell from first, second, and third hand experience that it isn’t teaching, and the people aren’t learning.
